Some cafés chase trends. We’ve spent two decades doing the simple things properly — well-sourced coffee, food cooked to order, and a room where everyone from commuters to pushchairs feels at home.
A kitchen, not a counter
Brunch plates, toasted sandwiches, soups and salads are cooked fresh in our own kitchen throughout the day — never reheated, never wrapped in plastic.
Proudly alcohol-free
As an unlicensed café we don’t serve alcohol — by choice. It keeps the room relaxed, family-friendly and focused on what we do best: coffee, food and conversation.

All-day brunch, done properly
Our menu runs from first pour to mid-afternoon: slow-baked shakshuka, eggs any way on toasted sourdough, buttermilk pancakes, grain bowls and a rotating soup of the day. Everything is prepared in-house, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options woven through the menu rather than bolted on.
Because we’re unlicensed, the drinks list gets the same attention as the food — single-origin filter coffee, proper loose-leaf teas, fresh-pressed juices and house-made iced drinks.

You’ll find us at 1e Finsbury Park Road, a short walk from Finsbury Park station and the park itself. Since 4 June 2006 we’ve watched this corner of N4 grow and change — and we’ve grown with it, serving the regulars who’ve been coming since day one alongside new neighbours discovering us every week.
